Hubby and I got to try The Buffet in Commonwealth, the newest eat-all-you-can place in Quezon City during its soft opening last March 6, 2013. My curiosity was piqued because it’s headed by a Korean chef, Chef Park Gi Won.
Anyhow, we were surprised by the grand staircase and chandeliers which greeted us at the lobby.
There are so many appetizers to choose from — several kinds of cold cuts and salads…
The Buffet is located along Commonwealth Avenue a short distance from the Quezon City Circle. At the moment, they still have their grand opening promo ongoing so the prices are as follows:
Weekday Lunch – P599*
Weekday Dinner – P799*
Weekend Lunch – P699*
Weekend Dinner – P899*
*All prices above are subject to +5% service charge.
These prices will increase by P200 each after the grand opening promo. At the moment though, there’s still no advise with regards to it ending so we can still enjoy these fair prices on such a grand buffet spread. They also have a 10+1 buffet promo ongoing, so every group of 10 who goes gets one buffet for free. If it’s your birthday, you get a free cake. Honestly, it’s impossible to try everything in one visit because there are whole sections of Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, and Western cuisine.
They were on soft opening when we visited and my only complaint was that most of the food wasn’t warm. I did write down all my feedback on the form they provided so I hope they’ve addressed and fixed this problem. Taste-wise, it was average for most part (the dishes I tried anyway) — nothing mind-blowing but I found the price fair for the huge selection that was offered.
