Around one year ago, I reviewed Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream. I’ve always wanted to try Pond’s other BB variant, Pond’s Flawless White BB Cream, but I have way too much BBs, CCs, and foundations so I couldn’t bring myself to buy a tube. Luckily, Pond’s sent me this last summer and so finally, we arrive at BB Cream review no. 26 — Pond’s Flawless White BB Cream.
This product is available in two shades, Light and Beige. Thank goodness they gave me the correct one, Light. I’ve seen Beige and I can tell it’s too dark for me.
I swatched in on my hand and I thought it looked promising. My face is lighter than my hand.
So anyway, here’s my before and after application photos. I think it matches my skin tone quite nicely. It instantly brightened and evened out my face.
After applying BB, I added eyebrow liner, eyeliner, mascara, and Benefit Lollitint on my cheeks and lips. That’s it.
This is how it looks under natural light. My face and my neck match so I’m good to go! I don’t look like I have BB on, which is good.
This is how the BB was 8 hours after application. I didn’t blot.
What I like about Ponds Flawless White BB Cream:
- Matches my skin perfectly.
- Has almost no scent.
- Evens out and brightens up the skin.
- Feels light on the face.
- Dries fast — this can be either positive or negative depending on you. Personally I find fast-drying BB creams trickier to apply but they do set faster.
- Has SPF 30 PA++ so I don’t need to use a separate sunscreen.
Downside? The tube was sealed when I got it but it felt like it contained very little BB cream inside. I had to squeeze pretty hard to dispense the product and I couldn’t shake the feeling it was going to run out any time despite the fact that I was using it for the first time. Coverage is light to between light and medium.
Ponds Flawless White BB Cream is available for P299 / 25g at all leading department stores and drugstores nationwide.
