Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream + Giveaway!

Time for another BB Cream review… and what do you know, it’s not Korean. It’s from a skin care brand that everyone knows (and either loves or hates, lol!)… it’s Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream!

Pond's Age Miracle BB Cream

I’ve been curious about Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream ever since I heard about its launch here in the Philippines. People have been saying that it’s good for morenas so I’m test-driving the Light variant.

Pond's Age Miracle BB Cream
One tube contains 25g of product… which is less than usual.

It’s got a pink undertone.

I tried spreading it on my hand and it’s very smooth.

Hmmm… I forgot to wash off the BB cream and I actually got in the car with it still on my hand. Notice how pink the side of my hand with the BB is compared to the side without the BB.

So anyhow, here’s my usual before (left) and after (right) shot. It’s amazing what BB cream, eyebrow pencil, and eyeliner can do to make one look more awake, lol.

Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream gives a smooth, dewy finish.

I took this photo with my cellphone so it’s grainy but I just wanted to show you how pink this BB cream’s undertone is. I’m half-Chinese so I look better with a BB cream that has a yellow undertone. Notice how my neck is on the yellow side.
What I like about Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream:

  • It goes on very smoothly so it’s easy to apply.
  • It feels light on the face.
  • It’s mildly scented.
  • It brightens, covers, and gives a dewy finish.
  • It’s got SPF 30 PA++.

Downside? The pink undertone does not match my skin although it’s less obvious indoors under artificial lighting. Also, I don’t recommend this for oily skin because the dewy finish can easily turn shiny once your face starts to oil up. Since this BB belongs to the Pond’s Age Miracle line it’s highly moisturizing. I find this BB kind of pricey too since it costs P499 for 25g. Most Korean BBs come in 50g tubes so this would cost around P1k if it came in that size. The average price of BB cream in a 50g tube in Korea is P600+.

Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream is available in leading department stores and drugstores nationwide.
