Oishi Oaties Milk and Oishi Choco Chug

I received something very interesting a few days back. Check it out!

Oishi Oaties Milk

It was a gigantic Oishi Oaties Milk drink with a matching straw, lol! It doesn’t look gigantic in the photo above since it’s all alone but…

…this is how big it actually is! My son was playing the PS3 on our bed when I told him hey I brought you your drink, hahaha!

The gigantic drink is actually a box of Oishi Oaties Milk and Oishi Choco Chug wrapped in an Oishi Oaties Milk label. Ingenious, yes? I love it!!!

Oishi Oaties Milk

I’ve seen these drinks in supermarkets, Oishi Oaties Milk and Oishi Choco Chug. It’s basically good old-fashioned fresh milk and chocolate milk with finely ground oats which provide 4g of fiber per serving. You don’t get fiber from regular milk drinks and fiber is good! I always worry that my kids aren’t getting enough fiber since they’re not really big on veggies so these drinks are very welcome in our household.

Oishi Oaties Milk tastes exactly like described — fresh milk with oat bits. It’s not sweetened to death and I appreciate that, because most drinks for kids are overly sweet. My son and I have the same preference — we both love Oishi Oaties Milk. Meanwhile, Oishi Choco Chug has a rich chocolate taste which my daughter really loves. I find it a tad too sweet though, lol, but most of my friends actually prefer Oishi Choco Chug. The oats in both drinks are so finely ground that you don’t feel them in your mouth. It’s just like drinking milk except that these are more filling.

They come with straws too so they’re very convenient.

Oishi Oaties Milk and Oishi Choco Chug comes in two sizes: 250ml (single serve) and 1 liter (4 servings). The 1 liter pack costs around P65, unfortunately I don’t remember how much the 250ml packs cost… I think it’s somewhere around P18 but I’m not sure.

Oishi Oaties Milk and Oishi Choco Chug are available at leading supermarkets nationwide.
