Gadgets that clean the air we breathe are now part of our everyday lives. Given that COVID is transmitted via droplets, one way we can protect ourselves is by getting rid of those droplets which can contaminate the air around us. Hubby and I are in the car a lot because we go to and from work, so it only makes sense that we have something like that in the car 100% of the time.
That something is the Klaire Car Air Purifier (P3,199). Each unit comes with a USB3 charging cable so all you need to do is plug it in and turn it on.
The Klaire Car Air Purifier has an anti-microbial activated carbon filter which can catch fine particles as small as 0.3 micrometers. It’s also outfitted with a UVC sterilization lamp which can sterilize, disinfect, deodorize, and purify the air. The UVC lamp is inside the unit so there’s no danger of hurting your eyes or skin. There’s a built-in negative ion generator as well.
You can power it with a powerbank or your car charger.
This is where you plug in your USBC cable.
There’s only one button to press to turn the unit on and off or adjust the purification level.
The Klaire Car Air Purifier is about the size of a tumbler and fits perfectly in the car’s cup holder. This can also be used to clean the air in small spaces, like your desktop.
What I like about the Klaire Car Air Purifier:
- It’s really quiet. Even if you use the max setting, you can hardly hear the fan.
- The UVC lamp is fully encased so there’s no danger of burning your eyes or skin.
- There’s only one button used for operation so it’s super user-friendly.
- It’s really easy to take apart the unit and clean/replace the filter.
Downside? You’ll need to replace the filter occasionally when you get to the point that it can’t be cleaned anymore. I’ve used similar gadgets with no consumables so this is a bit of a setback for me. But if you’re just using it in the car I think one filter will last a long time.
You can purchase the Klaire Car Air Purifier from https://www.instagram.com/klaire.airpurifier/. They also have bigger units which can service larger spaces, like an entire room. Use my code #Animetric_Klaire to get 5% off until Feb. 18, 2021.
