Jennifer Lopez Inglot Lipstick Review

Last Tuesday, the Jennifer Lopez Inglot Makeup Collection was officially launched in the Philippines. It’s a 70-piece makeup collection that has everything you need to glow like J Lo. Incidentally, that day also marked J Lo’s 49th birthday. Wow, I’m totally flabbergasted. If I could look half as good as J Lo at that age I would be very happy.

Jennifer Lopez InglotThe Jennifer Lopez Inglot Makeup Collection has everything from pressed powder to lipstick to nail polish.

Jennifer Lopez InglotWhat immediately grabbed my attention was the Livin’ the Highlight in Radiant (P1,595). It’s a highly pigmented golden loose powder which you can use on both the face and body.

Jennifer Lopez InglotYou can make your own custom Jennifer Lopez Inglot Freedom System Palettes by just picking out which makeup products you want or need.

Jennifer Lopez InglotAnyhow, I took home a Jennifer Lopez Inglot Lipstick (P1,195) from the launch.

Jennifer Lopez InglotI got the shade J203 Dolce.

Jennifer Lopez InglotHere’s a swatch.

Jennifer Lopez InglotHere’s how it looks when applied on the lips. It’s actually a pretty peach shade. I normally shy away from peach and orange toned lipsticks but this is surprisingly flattering. It’s neither matte nor glossy, it’s somewhere in the middle. The color payoff is impressive and it glides on effortlessly too. It’s formulated with Apricot Kernel Oil which has moisturizing, softening, and smoothening properties plus Vitamins A and E. I used to have an Inglot lipstick and I remember liking it a lot. I feel the same way about this one.

What I like about the Jennifer Lopez Inglot Lipstick:

  • The price is at par with the US SRP of US$19. If we add the US sales tax, the actual cost is US$21. That’s about P1,100+.
  • There are 8 usable shades to choose from — there’s nothing too exotic.
  • It’s easy to apply because of the creamy consistency.
  • It’s fragrance-free, paraben-free, and cruelty-free.
  • It softens and moisturizes the lips.
  • I like the simple yet elegant packaging.

Downside? Due to its creamy texture, you will have to retouch after eating and/or drinking. It stays put if you don’t touch it though.

The Jennifer Lopez Inglot Makeup Collection is now available at all Inglot stores — Glorietta, SM Megamall, Trinoma, and SM Mall of Asia.

The finish reminds me of the loreal color riche ones…(shade i think is fairy touch- more coral through) I actually am loving these creme/sheen/satin/shiny finishes more than mattes…Thanks for the review ms. Rowena! It looks extremely flattering on you! ☺️
