We took a quick dessert stop at Cold Spoon Frozen Yogurt during our trip back home from Fontana a couple of weekends ago. I’ve heard so many good things at this place so I was quite excited to finally try it.
It’s a quaint and cozy place, perfect for chillaxing with friends. There’s free wi-fi connection too.
There are a lot of tables and chairs. My guess is the place can accommodate around 40-50 people tops.
My daughter ordered a medium sized cup of plain frozen yogurt (P90, pictured above). She doesn’t like toppings and flavored yogurt variants. She always has her froyo plain.
I had a medium cup of plain yogurt (I’m not big on flavors either) but I had it topped with Nestle Almond Crumble cereal (+P15) for an added crunch. Toppings cost anywhere from P15 to P25 per kind depending on what you choose. The most expensive topping choices are M&M’s, Butterfinger chunks, etc.
Cold Spoon’s froyo strikes a good balance of tartness and slight sweetness. It’s creamy and smooth too. While the whole eating experience didn’t change my life, it was an excellent cup of frozen yogurt nonetheless. 🙂
