Back in 2023, I compiled a list of my tried and tested Lazada Korean Sellers. I’ve been buying a lot more from Shopee lately because of better prices and selections so I’ve come up with a list of my tried and tested Shopee Korean Sellers. By Korean sellers, I mean they are actually based in Korea and all items ship from Korea. If ever they ship from Manila, it only means they are the official brand store here. Now I have personally bought from every seller I am listing down here, hence tried and tested.
Why I like buying from Shopee Korean Sellers:
- They are either at par or cheaper than Olive Young a lot of the time. I’m a serial price checker. I’m in Seoul a lot but even when I’m there I make it a point to check prices on Shopee and Lazada before buying whatever it is. I will only buy the item there only if it’s cheaper or unavailable from both platforms.
- Aside from the price point, buying from Shopee and Lazada saves me luggage space I can devote to items I cannot buy outside of South Korea.
- Shipping is always free. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain — savings + extra luggage space.
- Korean sellers on Shopee and Lazada always give freebies. Olive Young does not give out freebies for regular purchases. You only get freebies if there is a brand event.
- I can use vouchers during sale periods for even more savings.
I have some degree of familiarity with most of the things I’m buying so I know if they are legit. Also, I make sure item is actually shipping from Korea. A lot of stuff ship from China and that alone for me is a red flag because China is usually the source of most fake items.
Without further ado, here are my favorite tried and tested Shopee Korean Sellers:
- Jadoo Seoul – Jadoo carries everything from beauty products you can find in Olive Young to Korean pharmacies. Prices are very competitive too, I have actually compared in real time while I’m standing in Olive Young. Rejuall, Dong A-Pharm, Rejuvenex… they have it all. Pharmacies have become such a cult fave in Seoul that it’s no longer easy to find items you want as they’re usually out of stock. I bought my hubby Melanosa Cream from a pharmacy in Myeongdong for ₱1,200. It costs only ₱900+ at Jadoo Seoul. Jadoo also has nicely priced Sulwhasoo products.
- Glory of Seoul – Like Jadoo, they have both popular brands and pharmacy favorites. This is where I bought my AHC Ten Revolution Real Eye Cream for only ₱200+. Jadoo didn’t have this product and Glory of Seoul had the best price among the Korean sellers who had it so I ordred from them.
- Nutrione Store – This is where I buy my collagen supplements. I used to buy from their Lazada store but lately it’s been a lot cheaper on Shopee. Also, the inventory of their Shopee store is better stocked with new product releases. They also give a lot more free gifts with purchase and bigger discount vouchers on Shopee.
- Tirtir Official Store – Now this is crazy. I was physically in the Tirtir Seongsu store swatching products and comparing prices. Tirtir Official on Shopee ALWAYS has lower prices. When the Tirtir AI Filter Cushion first came out, it was something like ₩22,500 (₱936) in store. I was able to buy it for ₱679 at their Shopee store with discount vouchers, plus I got freebies!
- Fwee Official Store – Like Tirtir, I was at the Fwee Hongdae store when I started comparing prices. Their official Shopee store has lower prices, more promos, and everything in the physical store is also on Shopee. Ended up buying my Fwee Lip and Cheek Glowy Jelly Pot B1T1 from Shopee.
- Yaocos.ph – Yaocos has a Lazada store but lately everything they sell has been a lot cheaper on Shopee. They carry more well-known inexpensive brands like Etude House, Colorgram, Peripera, The Face Shop, The Saem, Too Cool for School, and so forth. Laneige is probably their most upscale brand.
- Younfamily – Younfamily has a similar selection to Yaocos. With regards to who is cheaper, it depends on the product and the time of purchase so I always check both sellers.
- Tlos Global – This was one of my go-to sellers on Lazada for Sulwhasoo, now they are on Shopee as well. Prices are a lot lower on Shopee so I’ve been buying here instead. In fact they already carry a complete trial kit of the Sulwhasoo Ultimate S line which I use.
- BwonStore – My other Sulwhasoo source. Tlos Global and BwonStore have similar selections and prices so I just check whichever is cheaper when I am actually buying.
- Arencia Global Store – My daughter really wanted their viral mochi cleanser so we went to Olive Young to check it out. It cost ₩19,000+ or ₱800+. Imagine my surprise when their Shopee official store would sell the same mochi cleanser for only ₱500+ to ₱600+ depending on when you buy! I told her to just order from Shopee.
As a Korean beauty enthusiast, I’m just happy that K-beauty products are so accessible to us here in the Philippines. Prices are comparable to prices in South Korea too, in fact they are even cheaper a lot of the time.
I also have a list of Shopee Japanese sellers, will compile into a blog post soon.
