Did you know that along Panay Avenue is a place where you can score deals on premiere food brands? It’s the SYSU Food Hub. It’s on the same side as Hi-Top Supermarket. Sysu International Inc. is the distributor of brands like Lee Kum Kee, McCormick, San Remo, JIF, Tabasco, and Treetop among many others. They also have their own brand, Clara Ole.
I got a chance to shop there last Thursday with my mommy blogger friends My Mom Friday and The Phenomenal Mama.
They have shelves full of products, some of which are not available in supermarkets.
I was surprised to discover that they distribute ready-to-drink Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf beverages, Dunkin Donuts coffee, La Espanola olive oil, Crisco cooking oil, and Natural Health Coconut Sap Sugar too.
So why shop at the SYSU Food Hub? There are always special deals. For example, these Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce Twin Packs which sell for P135.25. You get 15% off the SRP if you get this.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, there are products not available in supermarkets, like San Remo Gluten Free Pasta. Every 350g pack sells for P164, so whether you get spaghetti, fettucine, or fusili, you pay the same price.
La Espanola olive oil is one of their premium brands.
Since opening late last year, cash has been the sole mode of payment they accept. Hopefully next time we can pay via credit card, PayMaya, GCash, etc.
Here are some of the things I got — San Remo x Clara Ole Limited Edition Set, La Espanola Olive Oil, San Remo Instant Macaroni and Cheese (first time I’ve seen it!), Tabasco Sriracha, Natural Health Coconut Sap Sugar, CBTL tea and coffee, Balducci Spaghetti…
And I also got a bunch of Lee Kum Kee products — Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce (with free Lee Kum Kee Sesame Oil), Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce, and Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Sauce for Seafood.

That is a food haven for Mom’s and Dad’s who loves cooking and food as well. One of our fave is the Kung Pao sauce by Clara Ole which we recently cook for by birthday lunch last Sunday.. Lee Kum Kee’s Garlic Chilli Sauce which my hubby puts in our shrimp recipe. Still, their is so much food items to explore in this store.

OMG! I think my family will be spoiled here in SYSU Food Hub. Just by looking at the photos online, I am so impressed with their expansive selection of imported and local items in value packed sizes to cater to our personal and business needs. I will definitely love their exclusivity and homey neighborly feel than if I go to the other crowded grocery stores or supermarkets. Especially for my OC self, it will always be a nice sight seeing the place very clean, modern and inviting and all my favorite products properly stacked and organized. And I do not need to travel abroad to bring home their global products because I can find them all here. I look forward to buying their gift packs, other grocery items in bulk especially those that are usually not found elsewhere in Manila. And I am excited to take advantage of all their sales. Great thing is that they have good deals and promos from time to time with huge discounts on some items. I think many of their items are cheaper than that of other regular supermarkets. SYSU Food Hub will definitely give me some sort of a grocery shopping high, bright and happy vibe just to see all their different and unique products. I also read that their staffs seem to be very helpful and courteous and knowledgeable and would look for stocks if there are none on display. SYSU Food Hub will be perfect for shoppers whether we do monthly grocery shopping, or just someone who loves to go to the grocery often. Thank you Maam Rowena for introducing SYSU Food Hub to us. It will now become my everyday grocery store.
Because going to groceries and supermarkets is a normal errand for me, I have learned to compare groceries, memorize prices and know where certain products are available or not. I am overwhelmed that SYSU Food Hub sells and exclusively distributes both imported and local brands at a cheaper price. I love that it is overflowing with a variety of kitchen, health and wellness products. It has all the fixings to make an amazing meal. There is something for everyone here that is why SYSU Food Hub has quickly become our first stop when venturing out for grocery shopping. Suffice it to say that everyone should be shopping at SYSU Food Hub, and that this should be their first stop! I highly recommend shopping at SYSU Food Hub. San Remo and Clara Ole are my go-to brands when making pasta! I wish I lived near the SYSU Food Hub so I could stock up… pero buti na lang they’re on Shopee also.
