The day typhoon Ruby was supposed to pass through Metro Manila was a Monday. It was also the day of Surfer Girl’s store opening at Eastwood Citywalk.
Surfer Girl is an Indonesian brand which sort of reminds me of Roxy. Surfer Girl carries summer-themed merchandise like swimwear, flipflops, tote bags, keychains, etc. Their first Philippine store is located in Eastwood Citywalk 2. I think it goes well with Megaworld’s township theme for Eastwood City (meaning they want Eastwood City to be its own self-sustaining place with everything readily accessible by walking) because of the brand’s casual and slightly sporty image.
This blonde character with a surfboard is, you guessed it, Surfer Girl, lol!
The shop is bright and well-stocked, ideal for quick shopping trips since you can see pretty much everything they have in one go. Let me take you through some of their available merchandise. Maybe you can go Christmas gift-shopping! 🙂
This shirt costs P1,195 and is available in several sizes — I think their clothes can be worn by girls aged 6-14.
They also have trinkets like keychains, bag tags, bracelets, baller bands, etc.
True to the brand’s name Surfer Girl, they have swimwear and beach stuff like tote bags and towels.
The available swimwear during the opening were mix and match pieces which cost P1,295 – P1,395 per piece (tops and bottoms sold separately).
Yes, this trolley bag is for sale for P3,995. I thought it was a prop for display at first.
Surfer Girl is ideal for tweens and young adults (my daughter fits the bill at 10 years old, lol). There are a lot of cute, functional things you can pick up.
