Christmas is just around the corner and as always, Starbucks has a lot of delicious treats in store for us!
Every year they have new offerings as well as returning favorites. One such returning favorite is the Gingerbread Cookie (P50, pictured above). It now comes in the form of a snowman. It’s kind of dry and hard to bite though and not as chewy as before. Huhuhu… this is my fave pa naman.
If you want a chewy cookie, go for the Chocolate Chip Cookie Stuffed with Oreo (P65, pictured above). This is actually two cookies in one because in the middle of the super yummy chewy chocolate chip cookie is a whole Oreo!
Another returning favorite is the Peppermint Brownie (P75, pictured above). I love this. It’s moist, chewy, chocolatey and it’s filled with peppermint cream cheese then topped with chocolate ganache. Yum!
Let’s check out some of the savory treats starting with this Pot Roast Pie (P120, pictured above). Buttery flaky pastry is filled with beef pot roast.
This I like, the Chicken Fajita Roll (P100, pictured above). A soft and chewy tortilla roll is filled with lots of chicken and cheese with a spicy kick. Very easy to eat when you’re on the go too.
If you like your sandwiches filled with a bit of fruit, Roasted Turkey and Chicken with Apple Cranberry Walnut on Sourdough Bread (P170, pictured above) is for you.
Here’s something new — Grilled Pork and Emmenthal Cheese with Chimichurri Sauce on Cheese Bread (P170, pictured above). Yummy! I enjoyed this sandwich a lot. The crusty cheese bread is love!
This is however my favorite, the Chicken Caesar Wrap (P165, pictured above). Soft tortilla is filled with chicken breast fillet and bacon-drizzled caesar dressing. It’s kinda like a salad in sandwich form. Please take note that this is NOT available in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo, Naga, Gen San, Tarlac, Subic, Dagupan, and Bataan.
But what’s Christmas without the cakes? Let’s start with the Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake (P1,560 whole / P150 slice, pictured above). Smooth and velvety chocolate-flavored cheesecake on a chocolate cookie crust with lots of glitzy chocolate squares on top! It looks so luxe, perfect for gift-giving!
Check out this decked out Chocolate Crepe Cake (P1,100 whole / P120 slice, pictured above). Seventeen layers of thin chewy crepes filled with Belgian chocolate cream! Please take note that this is NOT available in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo, Naga, Gen San, Tarlac, Subic, Dagupan, and Bataan.
But wait, there’s more! The above-mentioned provinces get an exclusive cake of their own in the form of this Chocolate Torte Cake (P950 whole / P110 slice, pictured above). It’s the ultimate chocolate experience with 4 layers of chocolate cake, mousse, meringue, and marbled cake. I tried it and wow — chocolate coma!
I tried samples of the 3 Christmas beverages — Toffee Nut Latte was the first. But this year, Toffee Nut Latte levels up with the new espresso caramel whipped cream and toffee sprinkles. Thumbs up!
Christmas Cookie Latte is the new drink of the season — buttery creamy latte infused with shortbread cookie sauce, topped with whipped cream, shortbread cookie drizzle, and butter cookie crumbles.
You can have the Christmas beverages either hot, iced, or blended:
- Hot or Iced – Short P150 / Tall P160 / Grande P175 / Venti P185
- Blended – Tall P170 / Grande P180 / Venti P190
All of the above food and beverage items will be available at all Starbucks stores from November 3, 2014 to January 8, 2015.
