Before anything else, what is money management? Wikipedia defines it as the process of expense tracking, investing, budgeting, and banking one’s money. Most, if not all of us, have a limited amount of money on hand. That said, it’s important for us to know how to make the most of it. That’s where Praxis Financial Gym comes in.
We all know what money is… but managing it is a totally different matter. Should we keep everything in the bank? Buy property? Invest in stocks? Praxis, a financial literacy solution developed in Singapore, teaches us how to effectively manage our finances through gameplay. The goal is to attain financial freedom. The person who makes the most money after the cycle wins the game and can be included in the Praxis Financial Gym Leaderboard.
Each Praxis Gameplay is facilitated by a certified Game Master, directing its flow and announcing “Breaking News” such as health scares, stock price changes, and other news bits which cause players to make decisions about their money. What’s more, the Gameplay can be customized to a specific audience. Whether it’s for students as part of their class or for financial institutions’ training sessions, Praxis is a fun and interactive learning experience for everyone 10 years old and older. One table can be occupied by 6 players. Up to 30 people can be accommodated at Praxis Financial Gym at a time.
Interested groups may book a Praxis Gameplay at the Praxis Financial Gym. Just call 720-5753 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries. I think it’s an interesting educational activity I should look into for our teenage kids.
