Last April 16, Justice, an American clothing brand for kid, tween, and teen girls, was officially launched here in the Philippines. I must admit that although I’ve been to the US many times in the past, I’ve never really encountered this brand. To think there’s a store less than 7 miles from my mom’s house in California.
It started with a fashion show which showcased the different styles Justice has to offer. There’s stylish swimwear — robe, slippers, hat, and shades too!
I liked the cool summery styles like these denim shorts, animal-print top, and cute cover-up.
There are all sorts of tops — sleeveless, 3/4 sleeves, long sleeves, short sleeves… glittery, neon, pastel… it’s all about fun at Justice. Denims come in all cuts too from straight to skinny. They even have boots!
Scarves, headbands, earrings, bracelets… you name it, Justice has it!
You can mix and match everything at Justice, although they have one piece formal dresses too.
After the fashion show was the ribbon-cutting of Justice’s first Philippine store at the new Shangri-la Plaza Mall East Wing.
It all began when the owners’ 13-year old daughter asked her dad to get her an outfit from Justice when he went on a business trip to the US. He was so impressed by the brand he decided to bring it over to our shores.
I would describe it as Forever 21 for kids, tweens, and teens. The sizes range from 6-18 so if you have daughters 6 years old and up you can shop for her (or with her) here. Prices go something like this: P590 for a newsboy cap, P169 for stick-on nails, P1,200 for a two-piece top (tank and shirt), and P1,800 for a pair of jeans.
Tops, bottoms… everything can go with everything. The possibilities are endless.
Justice is located on the 4th level of the new Shangri-la Plaza Mall East Wing.
