Heat lunch buffet at Edsa Shangri-la Hotel

I had a leisurely lunch out with Mrs. Martinez and Jen, a colleague of mine from way way back whom I had not seen in a loooong time. This happened about a month ago. 🙂

There were so many types of food I got confused which I should get first. I went to the Japanese section because I figured I’d have sushi in place of plain regular rice. Different types of sushi rolls were laid out.

There were a lot of lovely desserts waiting for us.

I settled for a couple of chocolate crinkles and a banana crepe topped with vanilla pudding and chocolate chips. The crinkles were divine. Soft, rich, and chewy plus they had the faint scent of almond essence. Darn I forgot about the Puto Bumbong and Bibingka (Filipino rice cake) which I originally wanted to get from the Filipino section. XD
