Everyone knows I’m very much into Korean cosmetics but surprise surprise, one of my favorite brands is actually local (although all the products are made in Japan) — Happy Skin! They come up with lots of new stuff every season and so I’m here to share what they have for us this summer… the Happy Skin Beauty In Bloom Collection!
First off we have 2 new limited edition lipstick shades for the summer: Happy Skin Beauty In Bloom in Bride-To-Be and Hold My Hand (P599 per pc / P999 set). Bride-To-Be is a super cute pink shade while Hold My Hand is more on the coral side.
Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me 2-in-1 Blush in Just Peachy and Bride-To-Be (P799)
Whoa, check out the Happy Skin Beauty in Bloom Get Cheeky with Me 2-in-1 Blush! It’s got 2 shades in one palette — Just Peachy and Bride-To-Be. I’ve actually tried this and I like mixing the shades!
Happy Skin Beauty In Bloom Shut Up and Kiss Me Lip & Cheek Mousse in Sunset Crush and The Morning After (P699 per pc / P1,199 set)
We also get 2 new shades of Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Lip & Cheek Mousse: Sunset Crush and The Morning After.
Happy Skin Eye Am The One Holy Grail Mascara (P899)
Happy Skin launches its first mascara ever — Eye Am The One Holy Grail Mascara. It’s a Japanese fiber mascara that’s smudge-proof, sweat-proof, tear-resistant, and sebum-resistant. Happy Skin’s Maximeyes two-fiber brush lifts and separates lashes so they look like they were drawn one by one. I’m pretty excited to try this as mascara is one of my makeup essentials.
I had fun going around Le Jardin and checking out all the new Happy Skin products. 🙂
Happy Skin Beauty In Bloom Get Cheeky with Me 2-in-1 Blush (P799)
I’ll start the ball rolling with a review of one of the featured products — Happy Skin Beauty In Bloom Get Cheeky with Me 2-in-1 Blush in Just Peachy and Bride-To-Be.
Super light peach and dark pink? How does that work… lol! Anyway if you’re not sure how you should apply blush, there’s a cheat sheet printed on the palette to guide you.
My face is oval and so I sweep blush upwards across my cheeks. I combined the 2 shades for a more natural look. Happy Skin Get Cheeky with Me is hands down my favorite powder blush ever since I first tried it back in 2013.
What I like about Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me 2-in-1 Blush:
- Pigmentation is great — you don’t need to put a lot in order to get some color onto your cheeks.
- I love the versatility that having two shades in one palette provides.
- It’s not powdery so there’s no fall-off when you apply it.
- It looks natural so you look like you were born with rosy cheeks, lol!
- It doesn’t cause breakouts for me.
- It’s super blendable and buildable so it’s not hard to get the desired effect.
Downside? It’s a tad pricey at P799 but the quality is well worth every cent!
