Miracle Art Exhibit at Lucky Chinatown Mall

My mom-in-law called early this morning to tell us my dad-in-law wanted to take the kids to Lucky Chinatown Mall. By kids, that would mean our two kids and my sis-in-law’s two kids… four kids total.

We thought we would just have lunch there but then hubby and I saw posters all over the mall for a “Miracle Art 4D Exhibition”. We asked the guard where it was and we were told the hall is located on the third floor of the Lucky Chinatown Mall Annex B.

There were discount coupons scattered all over the mall. Admission costs P300 for adults and P250 for children but if you have a coupon like this you get 34% off so it comes out to P198 for adults and P165 for kids. I think those are very reasonable prices as something like this costs maybe double abroad (they are usually called Trick Art Museums).

So yeah we wasted no time in getting tickets. It was a first for the kids and so I told them to watch what the other kids were doing to get an idea of how this whole Trick Art thing works.

Anyhow, the hall is adorned with a series of paintings which look 4D, as if ready to pop out from the frames. How interesting your photos look depends on how imaginative you are when it comes to posing.

This is my only photo, hahaha, since I was the photographer for most part.

The props look so real especially when viewed via your cam’s display.

Iron Man looked so real even when there wasn’t anybody posing with him.

I could’ve sworn she was actually leaning on the helmet!

Advanced Merry Christmas!

There are a lot more paintings aside from the ones I featured in this post. I think the P100+ entrance fee was worth the experience as our kids have never seen anything like this (we passed up a few trick art museums abroad). You can also score coupons which let you have a photo from your cam or cellphone printed out for free outside the hall (one per person only).

I don’t know up to when this will be up at Lucky Chinatown Mall but so far it seems indefinite. For more information, check out the Miracle Art Exhibit Facebook Page.
