I’ve been using The Body Shop’s Body Butter in Cranberry Joy the past couple of weeks since my skin’s been on the dry side with January’s reduced humidity.
Despite its consistency, The Body Shop’s Body Butter is absorbed quickly by the skin and leaves no greasy residue.
All you get is smooth and perfectly moisturized skin after application. The Body Shop’s Body Butter in Cranberry Joy retails for P895, but since it’s after Christmas, it’s now on sale for 50% off — but stocks are very limited and you can only get this special deal from The Body Shop branches with remaining stocks.
Bloggers were divided into 4 teams of 3 members each. I teamed up with Mrs. Martinez and Askmewhats. We were to create our own original body butter scent using The Body Shop’s existing line-up consisting of the following variants:
- Pink Grapefruit
- Wild Cherry
- Shea Butter
- Sweet Lemon
Each team was given jars, spatulas, and napkins. The activity was like a combination of cooking class and chemistry lab, hehe. 🙂
We tried on different combinations and finally settled on our official entry to the mini-contest: Watermelon Body Butter. We combined equal parts of The Body Shop’s Olive and Wild Cherry Body Butters and whipped it with our spatulas until it was smooth and seamless. We were so amazed by our homebrew watermelon scent, you couldn’t even tell which body butters we combined because it totally transformed into something new. 😀
Coincidentally, two of The Body Shop’s newest products, Watermelon Shower Gel and Watermelon Body Lotion shared the same fruity theme as our winning creation. More good news? All of The Body Shop’s Body Butters are on sale!
Thanks to The Body Shop for a fun-filled afternoon! 😀
