I got my first pair of eyeglasses when I was maybe 20 years old. I was diagnosed with mild near-sightedness and astigmatism. No wonder there was a fuzzy halo around certain objects I would see, especially lights and light sources. My near-sightedness wasn’t really a problem. Instead of 20/20 vision I was 50/50. Not bad….
