Summer Getaway at Anvaya Cove

As I’ve posted some entries ago, I went with the Neutrogena team and a handful of beauty and lifestyle bloggers to Anvaya Cove in Morong, Bataan for the Healthy Summer Skin event. I wasn’t able to talk about the place much then, but since we are still in the middle of summer I might as well, right? Besides, Anvaya Cove is an exclusive members-only facility so this is a good opportunity to give everybody a virtual tour. 😀

Entrance to Anvaya CoveWe got off the shuttle and entered Anvaya Cove through this shaded elevated bridge-like corridor.

Anvaya Cove reception areaWe ended up at the reception area where we freshened up, as restrooms are located behind this lounge.

Anvaya Cove main clubhouse

We made our way through the main clubhouse. The decor is very zen, I liked the overall clean and minimalistic look. But then I expect no less from Ayala Land.

Buffet lunch at Anvaya CoveThis is where we had our al fresco buffet lunch. It’s actually the second floor of a restaurant by the beach. We got there via golf carts.

Swimming pool at Anvaya CoveSwimming pool at Anvaya CoveThere are a lot of swimming pools in the vicinity. The sparkling waters were very inviting, but fellow bloggers said the water in the pools were actually quite warm so they all transferred to the beach where they had a blast bathing in the cool ocean water.

Animetric at Anvaya Cove with NeutrogenaSince I’m the farthest thing from a beach bunny I stayed by the poolside recliners and enjoyed cold drinks that I ordered from the bar — fully covered with Neutrogena sunblock of course!

Anvaya Iced TeaI was particularly enamored with the Anvaya Iced Tea which was blended with citrus juices (orange or tangerine, I couldn’t really tell) and then served with a lot of crushed ice.

I wasn’t able to take photos of the beach, but I have something better — a video! Sony was kind enough to lend me a brand spanking new handycam so I put it to good use. Check out the beach at Anvaya Cove by viewing the video clip above. 😀

Anvaya Cove has accommodations for staying overnight. They also have a Nature Camp, in fact a lot of the attendants are dressed up in safari gear like Kim Atienza. Just want to relax? Go for a treatment or two at their very own Veda Spa. Overall it’s a great place for families to visit… membership is required though.
