I’ve blogged about Pico de Loro Beach Club and Pico Sands Hotel, the third place you can access when you go to Pico de Loro Cove is Pico de Loro Country Club.
This is the Pico de Loro Country Club reception area. You can sit and read while waiting for someone or something…
Stepping outside the back entrance gives you a good view of the country club’s pool area and the condos for sale.
The pool area here is a lot bigger compared to the one at Pico de Loro Beach Club. It’s like three or four pools connected to each other via shallow waterways.
Certain areas are designed especially for lounging in the water.
If you get hungry, you can always go eat at the Lagoa Restaurant in Pico de Loro Country Club.
Lagoa Restaurant can accommodate a lot of people. You order ala carte.
For lunch we had Batangas Bulalo (P410). It’s delicious — tender beef shanks, sweet corn on the cob, and fresh, crisp vegetables… the only problem is for the hefty price tag the serving is small. This bowl can serve two people tops. It comes with a small bowl of steamed rice.
Our daughter opted for Fish Meets Chips (P240). Battered and fried cream dory is served with fries and tartare sauce on the side. She was able to finish the order and she said it was yummy. Like the Bulalo, this comes with rice too.
We also had Adobo Mambo (P230), chicken and pork adobo served with kangkong, hard-boiled eggs, and garlic rice. Pretty tasty!
Patch Reef Quesadilla (P220) is great as an appetizer or snack. Soft flour tortilla is filled with cheese and what seemed like mashed mexican-style beans. Tomato salsa, shredded lettuce, and sour cream top the quesadilla.
Aside from Filipino food (there’s sinigang, bistek, lechon kawali, etc.), Lagoa Restaurant also serves pasta dishes, pizzas, and burgers.
Pico de Loro Country Club has an indoor playground called Club Pico where toddlers and kids can safely play.
There’s also a bowling alley.
Don’t want to bowl? There are billiard tables too.
Pico de Loro Country Club also has a game room where you can play cards or video games, karaoke rooms, a gym, a library, and covered courts for racquet sports like badminton. You’ll never get bored as long as you have the cash to burn since all the recreational activities charge by the hour.
