One of my favorite buffet restaurants here in Metro Manila is definitely Cucina at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. I love the classy interiors, relaxed vibe, and the wide array of superior quality dishes. The buffet rate is reasonable too.
You know what else I love about Cucina? They keep innovating! It’s never the same buffet. Aside from holding themed spreads like the Swiss Food Festival, they also add new signature dishes from time to time. Hubby and I got to try their newest additions a week or so ago. Let me share them here:
First we have the Crispy Pata. Oh but this isn’t your ordinary Crispy Pata. This one is stuffed with Foie Gras and topped with pineapple salsa.
Then we have Braised Beef Roulade Stuffed with Cream Cheese, Shrimp, Fish, and Shellfish Meat.
Meanwhile the Surf and Turf Blanket, a lovely pie filled with salmon, minced beef, and sundried tomatoes, lets you experience the best of land and sea.
We also got to try Chocolate Haven, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s new signature all-chocolate confection. It features 3 textures of dark chocolate — sponge, mousse, and glaze. Perfect for chocoholics.

- P2,300 (Fri to Sun Lunch)
- P1,800 (Mon to Thurs Dinner)
