*This establishment is now CLOSED. Other Brothers Burger branches are still open.*
Last Sunday, we had lunch at Brothers Burger in Il Terrazzo. I believe this is their newest branch. They moved the one on Tomas Morato to this location.
My daughter ordered a Cheeseburger (P130, pictured above). It’s not on the menu. She’s quite picky and so her idea of a perfect burger is one with just a burger patty and cheese in between the bun. She always has this and she likes it.
Hubby decided to get a Brothers Burger (P140, pictured above) which he upgraded to a meal so he got a choice of canned softdrink and either French Fries or Onion Rings. Normally, an a la carte order of soda in can costs P50 while French Fries and Onion Rings cost P75 per order. I think we paid around P240 (sorry I misplaced our receipt so I can’t check) for this upgraded Brothers Burger meal. We were told you only get this option if you’re ordering Brothers Burger.
I decided to go for the same thing, only I opted for Onion Rings instead of French Fries. I’ve always enjoyed the flame-broiled taste of Brothers’ thick and juicy beef patty but it’s only now that I’ve come to fully appreciate their Onion Rings. I like how they’re very crispy.
Our son ordered a Ranchero Burger (P290, pictured above). It’s much bigger than what hubby and I ordered since it had bacon, melted cheese, and onion rings aside from the lettuce and tomatoes. We asked them to split it in half so he could take it home in case he couldn’t finish it. He was able to eat it all right then and there though, lol.
I also ordered Hotbites (P115, pictured above) as a side dish. It’s a serving of slightly spicy boneless chicken fillet fried until they’re nice and crunchy. An order comes with gravy for dipping. This is how I like my chicken — boneless, crunchy, and fully cooked!
Admittedly, Brothers Burger prices are higher than normal but they make up for it by way of their distinct flame-grilled juicy all-beef patties which I feel fill me up more compared to say a regular cheeseburger from one of the fast food chains. The sidings are just as great — tasty real potato fries + incredibly crunchy onion rings. If I weren’t so afraid of getting fat I would totally have the Ranchero Burger!
My complaint about this particular branch is the presence of pesky flies while we were eating. Around 3-4 of them kept flying around our table and it was very disturbing. I hope they do something about it.
By the way, all the pics on this post were taken using the Samsung NX2000 which Samsung Philippines loaned to me for review. I usually use my trusty Sony NEX-5N for everything but I had to give this a spin via a food post. What do you think?
