Last December, Honestbee helped us celebrate Christmas. This 2019, we’re having an Honestbee Chinese New Year! Every year, my mother-in-law makes reservations for our annual Chinese New Year’s dinner. It’s not a simple task. Most Chinese restaurants are crowded and overbooked. Now what if your Chinese New Year dinner (and other Chinese New Year goodies like tikoy) could just be delivered to you with a few clicks on an app?
Honestbee and the effervescent Tessa Prieto Valdes hosted an epic Chinese New Year party last Tuesday night at Tessa’s house.
As always, Tessa was more than dressed for the occasion.
We had everything Chinese that night — hopia, ang bao (well in this case “eng” bao because “ang” is red and “eng” is yellow in Hokkien), and lots of Chinese food.
Lugang Cafe catered the affair. We had dishes like Crispy Chicken.
There was also Pepper Beef Mushroom among several other delectable dishes.
DECS (Diao Eng Chay) provided an endless supply of dimsum.
This has to be the grandest Chinese New Year party I’ve attended. Feng Shui lady Maritess Allen even gave her forecast for all the lunar signs. From the decors to the food to the giveaways, everything was perfect!
Ready for an Honestbee Chinese New Year? Check out the new Chinese New Year tab on the app. It’s where you’ll find everything you need for your own celebration to welcome the Year of the Pig.
If you’re within the delivery radius of stores in Binondo, Manila, you can even shop for lucky charms and feng shui items.
You can download Honestbee from the App Store or Google Play. Or you can just go to their website https://www.honestbee.ph/.
