I’ve been using Kinto Slow Coffee Style Mugs for several months now. I love drinking coffee and tea. Now that I’m old…er (older!), I seem to have a liking for hot drinks whereas I used to have all drinks cold all the time. Kinto is a Japanese brand of tableware, drinkware, and lifestyle accessories founded in 1972.
I love the smooth, matte finish of these mugs. They come in 4 colors — orange, blue, gray… though I don’t have the 4th color which is white. Even if my drink is hot, this mug remains perfectly holdable… never too hot for my hands. The porcelain is thick and sturdy so you can pop them in the microwave or dishwasher, no problem. They’re ergonomic too, all rounded and contoured to be easy to grip.
One more thing about the Kinto Slow Coffee Style Mugs is they are stackable. If you lack space, like most homes eventually do, this feature makes them easy to store. Each mug fits perfectly on top of another. Love the minimalistic vibe.
I use my Kinto Slow Coffee Style Mug every morning with my Nespresso machine. They’re so low maintenance that at the end of the day I just pop them into the dishwasher. I’ve had several double walled glass mugs crack in the dishwasher. I’m happy to say this has never happened to any of my Kinto mugs. They also don’t get watermarks so they always look pristine.
This mug is on the pricey side at around ₱600 a piece but it’s really for keeps. They are available on Shopee.
Kinto products are available here in the Philippines via their exclusive distributor Honest Traders. They have a Shopee store and a Lazada store. Aside from Kinto, Honest Traders is also the distributor of brands like Basilur, Kim’s Duet, Tipson, etc.
