Rock and Seoul Korean Eats

Rock and Seoul Korean Eats at SM The Block

*This establishment is now closed but they have an open branch at Alabang Town Center.

My daughter loves Rock and Seoul. We rarely go to SM The Block so every time we’re there, she requests that we eat at Rock and Seoul.

Rock and Seoul Korean EatsRock and Seoul may look like a fast food joint but it’s not. You get a table and take a seat. They’ll bring you menus to look over when you’re seated.

Rock and Seoul Korean EatsSince I’ve already tried the Original Bibimbap from a past visit, this time I went for Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap (P260). It costs P20 more than the Original Bibimbap. The difference is this uses whole beef pieces, not ground beef. Bibimbap is a Korean dish that’s a complete meal in itself. It consists of steamed rice, fried egg, vegetables (usually carrots, beansprouts, spinach, cucumber), and meat. My daughter stuck to her favorite Original Bibimbap.

Rock and Seoul Korean EatsWe also tried Seafood Pajeon (P190). It’s a Korean pancake with shrimp, squid, and vegetables. It’s served with a yummy savory sauce which goes really well with the pancake. Pretty good.

Rock and Seoul Korean EatsFor dessert we ordered Bibimbuns (P160). Fried rolls topped with chocolate syrup, mini marshmallows, candy sprinkles, chocolate pretzels, and 3 scoops of ice cream. The rolls are crisp outside and fluffy inside. Eat them all together to get the full experience!

Rock and Seoul Korean EatsMrs. Martinez, B, K, and I all had a nice filling lunch at Rock and Seoul SM The Block! I wish they’d open in Robinsons Magnolia.
