Ever since I got a pair of Skechers Go Walk shoes (they’re just about the most comfy footwear I’ve ever owned I’ll blog about them next week!), I’ve been wanting to get my kids their own pairs too. Whenever we go out they’re always quick to complain that their feet already hurt from walking. I figured it must be the shoes because we don’t really walk long distances.
Last Sunday, we went to Skechers Glorietta to check out the kids’ styles. There were a lot! There was an entire corner devoted to kids.
Then a standee which said Skechers with Memory Foam for Kids caught my eye. I told her to pick a pair with memory foam. They’d be super comfy for sure!
I told her to look at everything and then to choose the style she likes best. She said she wanted something blue.
These are Skechers Twinkle Toes. This series features girls’ footwear that are colorful, glittery, and shimmery. Definitely very girly.
Anyhow we were dead set on the shoes with memory foam so we asked the super helpful Skechers staff to get the styles she wanted in her size so she could fit them. My daughter’s size ranges from 1 to 2 depending on the shoe.
She chose this lace up super cute gradient blue/purple pair. She ended up getting a size 2 so she can wear socks and still be comfy.

So we took home the Girls’ Skech-Air Perfect Quest in Blue/Purple. It cost P3,095 — everything was 10% off that day so it came out to P2,785.50. Not bad since it costs around US$58 (inclusive of sales tax) in the US so the Philippine pricing is close to the US SRP! This pair comes with an extra pair of shoelaces too.
It’s so cute! We love the ombre color effect on both the shoes and the laces. It’s incredibly lightweight too.
Aside from the memory foam inside the shoes, this style features the air-cushioned Skech-Air outsole which add bounce to every step.
Wow, they look really good too! My daughter didn’t want to take them off after wearing them! She said she wants to wear them forever, hahaha! She kept walking in them without complaining too!
I have a feeling I’m going to be seeing a lot of these shoes in the days to come, lol! I’m kind of wishing they have these for adults too. I promised my teenage son we’d be back to get him a pair, albeit I think it will be from the men’s section because his feet are already bigger than mine!
And yes, you read my blog post title right… this is Holiday Gift Idea #1 — the perfect gift for your tween (my daughter’s not so much into toys anymore). I’m going to try and be ambitious, posting one gift suggestion a day all the way until maybe the 23rd or 24th. Skechers with Memory Foam for Kids is the gift of comfort for both you and your child (tot, tween, or teen) because I guarantee no one will ever complain of aching feet if they’re wearing these. There are a lot of styles for both girls and boys too. This particular model is actually considered as athletic sneakers so she can also use it for sporty activities.
