About a week ago, Etude House Philippines unveiled the Etude House Sweet Recipe Collection 2013 at Tous Les Jours in Eastwood City. I’m very much into Korean beauty products and so I was really excited about this launch.
Tous Les Jours was transformed into a wonderland of colorful make-up and sweet treats. We could go around the store and pretty much try out any of the yummy pastries on display.
OMG, I didn’t know where to start. Anyhow, the first thing that struck me from the Etude House Sweet Recipe Collection was the Dear My Jelly Lips Talk lipsticks. There are 8 sweet shades to choose from: Juicy Lychee Skin, Syrupy Strawberry Candy, Sweet and Sour Orange, Chewy Mango Mango, Slice of Sour Lemon, Sweet Cotton Candy Munch, Grapefruit Syrup Tutti, and Sweet Plum Flavored Candy. Lord knows I wanted to grab them all. This product promises long wearing colors with moist shine. They even smell like fruit jelly. I can’t wait to try them out!
Next up is the Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base which comes in three shades: #1 Mint Choux, #2 Berry Choux, and #3 Peach Choux. It’s a choux cream-textured primer that makes your skin look moist and bright while providing oil control. I’m like… wow. I was getting more and more excited by the minute.
Check out the Sweet Recipe Ice Cream Nails! These metallic nail polish come in 4 colors: Sprinkles Mint Chocolate Chip, Zingy Lemon Sorbet, Sweet and Sour Apricot Candy, and Twinkling Strawberry Candy.
Another interesting product is the Sweet Recipe All Over Color. You can use them for the lips, cheeks, and eyes! I’ve never tried a product that can go on the eyes, lips, and cheeks so my curiosity was really piqued. There are 5 shades: Blueberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Chiffon Cake, Raspberry Mousse Cake, Orange Choux Cake, and Peach Sugar Cake.
See those candy canes hanging onto the traincase shelf? They’re actually Sweet Recipe Candy Sticks, fruit-scented tinted lip glosses with a pop of color. They come in 3 shades: #1 Seedless Strawberry Candy, #2 O! Orange Flavored Candy, and #3 Sweet & Sour Lemon Candy.
These yummy looking bars are actually Sweet Recipe Chocolate Highlighters. They come in white, cream, and frosting tones all in one palette. Pearl-infused for illumination with a soft, creamy, yet powdery texture. It smells like chocolates too.
Waaah I had so many sweets by Tous Les Jours. Each of us got to take home a box full of Sweet Recipe beauty goodies too! Yay for first dibs!
There was also a make-up demo by a Korean make-up artist. She applied Korean style make-up to a very Filipina-looking woman at the event. Fresh!
I will be test driving the Sweet Recipe products in the coming days so stay tuned! The Etude House Sweet Recipe Collection 2013 will be available at all Etude House stores nationwide by the end of March 2013.
