I’m still jet-lagged and disoriented but being gone over 2 weeks, I had run out of essentials at home. I actually needed to go shopping! That said, my first event for 2016 was very apt — The Watsons Great White Sale!
From January 7 to February 24, 2016, all things white and whitening will be 50% off at Watsons stores nationwide! How cool is that? I use whitening products not because I want to become whiter than I already am, but to even out my skin tone. I drive almost every single day and my arms are a lot darker compared to the rest of me. That said, I need to buy whitening products to lighten them.
It’s pretty easy to spot the participating products in The Watsons Great White Sale. They’re showcased in shelves inside the store and they have smiley face stickers attached to them.
Yes, they’re all over the store! This sale spans a whole lot of brands (L’oreal, Nivea, Cetaphil, Celeteque, Vaseline, Olay, Jergens, SkinWhite, Dove, Gluta-C, Belo, Pond’s, Neutrogena, Myra, Jergens, etc.) so I’m pretty sure you’ll find something you want / need.
I of course went shopping!
Here’s what’s inside my cart — Colgate, Cetaphil, Watsons Hand Soap refills, and a lot of other essentials. I was actually worried that I wouldn’t be able to carry them all down to the basement where my car was parked.
A whopping 1 million shopping points (to be credited to the winners’ SM Advantage, SM Prestige, BDO Rewards, or Primo Cards) are also being raffled off. Buy a participating product marked with the smiley sticker and you get one (1) raffle entry for every P500 purchase (all you need is one qualifying product in a single-receipt purchase). I was able to buy some qualifying products yesterday so I hope I win some shopping points!
