Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense
August 8, 2017

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense

I’ll say it again, very few perfumes catch my fancy. I’d rather use nothing than tolerate overly flowery or matronly scents. That said, fresh and citrusy fragrances have always been my thing. Anyhow my feed exploded (is that even the right term?) with posts on how fresh and citrusy Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense was last June. I was of course intrigued. The launch event was right smack in the middle of my kids’ dismissal times so I couldn’t make it.

Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau IntenseAnyway they sent a bottle my way (yay!) shortly after and wow, Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue Eau Intense just blew me away. I like it even better than all of my Calvin Klein perfumes past and present. Love the color and packaging too as I’ve always been partial to blue.

Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau IntenseI got the female version, which is described as the “aura of Mediterranean beauty”. The scent reminds me of Origins Spring Fever but this is lighter and less overwhelming. With top notes of lemon and apple, a heart of marigold and jasmine, and a base of amber wood and musk, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense combines fresh fruits and florals perfectly. It smells so good it’s addictive. It doesn’t get old and it’s just the type of fragrance I want on me the whole day. The words fresh, fruity, and light come to mind.

Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau IntenseDolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense is available in 25ml (SRP P3,500), 50ml (SRP P5,000), and 100ml (SRP P6,600) sizes. There’s also a men’s version — Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Homme.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense is now available at Rustans Department Stores and selected SM Department Stores nationwide.
