Bensimon Philippines
June 16, 2013April 8, 2016

Bensimon now in the Philippines

Enderun was transformed into a quaint little piece of France last June 11 when Terry SA, the exclusive Philippine distributor of Havaianas, announced the coming of Bensimon Parisian sneakers to the Philippines.

Bensimon PhilippinesI really liked how the venue was set up.

Bensimon PhilippinesI was really early because McKinley is far from where I am and I didn’t want to contend with rush hour traffic.

Bensimon PhilippinesTerry SA’s Anna Gonzales welcomed us and gave a brief introduction of the brand. Touted as “perfectly imperfect”, Bensimon came to be when brothers Serge and Yves Bensimon designed a classic sneaker which embodies the true Parisian love of life – simple, effortless, and natural. These sneakers have now officially reached our shores.

Bensimon PhilippinesOne end of Enderun’s event hall simulated a Parisian marketplace.

Bensimon PhilippinesThere were a lot of artsy stuff on display.

Bensimon PhilippinesOf course, lots of Bensimon sneakers too. Since they’re made of canvas, you can actually imbue each pair with your own personal style.

Bensimon PhilippinesI’m not very good at drawing or painting on fabric so I’ll stick to the original look, lol.

Bensimon PhilippinesThese are the basic Bensimon sneakers. They cost P2,290 each.

Bensimon PhilippinesThere are styles for kids too.

Bensimon PhilippinesBensimon sneakers are very, very flexible. You can even toss them in the washing machine for easy cleaning. I can already tell how comfortable they are just by looking.

Bensimon PhilippinesI picked a pair in Fuschia. Due to the yellowish lighting at the venue, they look red but they’re actually fuschia.

Bensimon has other designs aside from these lace-up sneakers. Prices range from P2,095 to P2,565 for the men’s and women’s lines while the cost of kids’ shoes range from P1,295 to P1,795. They’re initially available at the following outlets:

  • Center of Gravity (Forbes Town Burgos Circle, Centris Walk)
  • Shoe Salon (Glorietta 3, Power Plant Mall, Robinsons Manila, Shangri-la Plaza Mall, and Trinoma)
  • Shoe Thing (Bonifacio High Street, Eastwood Mall, Greenbelt 5 — kids’ styles only)
  • Common Thread (Power Plant Mall, Greenbelt)
