Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Sticks are among the first items in Etude House’s Sweet Recipe collection to make it to their stores here in the Philippines. I’ve been calling different branches for a while now and they still don’t have the jelly lipsticks.
Talk about living up to its name, the Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick comes in this cute candy cane-shaped tube. I got it in O! Orange Flavored Candy. The other two shades available are Strawberry Candy and Lemon Candy.
Here’s a swatch. I was sort of relieved it didn’t come out bright orange but rosy peach. I was wowed by the color pigmentation since this technically isn’t lipstick.
Pardon the oily face but I just had to take this photo when I got home. I applied Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick at 9:30am in the morning and took this photo at 6pm when I got home. I reapplied once in the afternoon around 2:30pm before a meeting then I had merienda around 4pm. The color really lasts.
What I like about Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick:
- It smells and tastes like orange soda, yummy!
- It’s formulated with Bilberry, Sugar Cane, Sugar Maple, and Xylitol so it keeps lips smooth, supple, and refreshed.
- The color is so bright and pigmented you can use it on its own. It lasts through meals too.
- The packaging is sooo cute.
- It’s so affordable at P248 per stick.
Downside? There are only three shades to choose from but other than that, it’s really perfect. It can give the Clinique Chubby Stick a run for the money since it delivers the same benefits at a lot less than half the price.
