A week before my birthday, I received a box of Villa Del Conte chocolates. It came in their new birthday box. Perfect! It was officially the first birthday gift I received this year. 😀
In place of their usual orange-colored box and brown ribbon (which reminds me of Hermes, mind you) was a cute pastel-colored patterned box.
I love how they’re colorfully wrapped. Each one is a different variant but the chocolates are comprised mainly of Praline Balls and Praline Sticks. You can identify which is which based on the color of the wrapper.
This is the Villa Del Conte Dark Chocolate Praline Ball. It comes with 4 different fillings: Coffee Cream, Hazelnut Cream, Macadamia Cream, and Hazelnut Cream with Cereals. There are Milk Chocolate Praline Balls too and the fillings are: Cacao Cream, Caramel Cream, and Hazelnut Cream with Cereals. The Praline Balls are incredibly rich, soft, smooth, and velvety. My favorite is the Milk Chocolate Praline Ball with Caramel Cream.
This is the Villa Del Conte Milk Chocolate Praline Stick. There are two kinds of fillings: Strawberry Cream and Banana Cream. There’s also Dark Chocolate Praline Sticks which are filled with either Mint Cream or Orange Cream. These are just as rich, smooth, and velvety as the Praline Balls but with a fruity twist (except for the mint, which happens to be the variant I like best!).
Villa Del Conte Chocolates originated from a city called Padova in Northern Italy where artisans have been making them for the last 81 years.
