UNIQLO Fall / Winter 2014 Collection… and 8 new stores!

UNIQLO launched its Fall / Winter 2014 Collection last Sept. 5, 2014 at the SM Mega Fashion Hall. The main themes were travel, work, and play. We love UNIQLO here at home. It’s where we buy essentials like casual wear, lounge wear, sleep wear, inner wear… yup, from me to hubby to the kids!

The collection was showcased in Life Cubes that represent different style situations. Check out the Travel Essentials cube. I love the layers — if you’re going somewhere warm (and downright hot) like the Philippines (think no aircon airport), all you need to do is peel off layer after layer until you’re comfortable.

I love this look. I wish I could travel like this but I get hot easily and I’d probably start sweating like it’s nobody’s business unless I go somewhere with snow, lol.

These are the Play Essentials. Since it is the Fall / Winter collection, there are sweaters, flannels, jackets, and jeans — everything that can keep you warm and toasty.

Work Essentials take on a more serious tone with muted neutral colors. Shirts, jackets, scarves… and yes, still the trusty denims.

Check out these Ultra Light Down jackets, they fold into a tiny little bag so you can tote them around easily. Perfect when you’re going places!
Guess what, UNIQLO is opening 8 more stores between October 2014 and early 2015. They currently have 16 stores so they’ll have a total of 24 stores by first quarter 2015. The 8 new stores will be located at:

  • Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center
  • Estancia Mall in Ortigas
  • SM San Lazaro
  • Robinsons Magnolia
  • SM City Southmall

  • SM Marikina

Is your favorite mall in the list above? Two of mine are — Power Plant Mall and Robinsons Magnolia, woot woot! 😀
