Burgers. Who doesn’t like burgers? For me, the beefier the better. I don’t really fancy other kinds like chicken burgers, veggie burgers, pork burgers… or heaven forbid LAMB burgers. I don’t eat lamb. Lamb has a funny scent which makes me want to throw up as soon as I have a whiff of it. That said, The Beef at Hole in the Wall is perfect for me.
The Beef at Hole In The Wall in Century City Mall serves nothing but pure all beef burgers. There are just some days when you feel like having a burger.
The menu is surprisingly sparse. Hamburger or Cheeseburger? With fries or without? Extra patty and/or cheese? That’s it. There aren’t even any drinks or dessert.
Your burger is cooked right after you place your order.
They have ketchup, mayo, and mustard.
And so I ordered the most fanciest meal there was — by that I mean Cheeseburger, with Fries (P375). Having Cheeseburger alone would set you back P295 and having Fries alone would cost P85. Ordering them together saves you P5.
I had the burger split in half so that hubby and I can share. Whenever we’re at Hole In The Wall we like ordering from different stalls so we need to make room. I really loved the beefy patty of my Cheeseburger. The Beef uses USDA Beef which they grind themselves. The patty is really tender, juicy, and tasty. It even smells divine.
The Fries are thinly sliced potatoes which are perfectly fried to a crisp, seasoned with salt, and topped with pickles. Yummy! It was hard to stop munching on them.
If you’re hankering for a good old-fashioned no-frills burger, The Beef will definitely take you back to the basics where the patty is everything. Must-try.
