Starbucks Irish Cream Coffee Pudding Frappuccino!!!

Yes, just like what the title says. Starbucks’ latest drink has liquor! Well, sort of. I love irish cream. It’s actually the only alcoholic drink I like. Starbucks just churned out some creamy coffee pudding infused with irish cream and put it in their Frappuccino.

Starbucks Irish Cream Coffee Pudding FrappuccinoVoila! We have the Starbucks Irish Cream Coffee Pudding Frappuccino (P175 Tall / P190 Grande / P205 Venti). Oh did I mention they also came out with Banana Split Mocha Frappuccino with the same price points? For this one, they put in banana puree and strawberry whipped cream with waffle cone bits as topping.

Starbucks Irish Cream Coffee Pudding FrappuccinoSo for the first time I ditched my usual Teavana for a Frap. These new drinks are only available for a limited time, till July 24 to be exact. As much as I didn’t fancy fraps, I was really curious about the Irish Cream Coffee Pudding. It didn’t disappoint. I loved how smooth and rich the irish cream coffee pudding was. The best part? It wasn’t overly sweet! My daughter had her usual Signature Iced Chocolate.

Anyhow, we went back to Starbucks on another occasion and my daughter ordered the cream-based (no coffee!) format of the Banana Split Mocha Frappuccino. I don’t think 12-year olds should be drinking coffee so I’m glad we have that option for this drink. I totally forgot to take a photo though but she liked it a lot. Had a sip and it tasted/smelled a lot like banana essence, sorry… still Irish Cream Coffee Pudding for me!

Have you tried these two new blended beverages?

Starbucks Grande WednesdayI have more good news. Last summer, Starbucks had a promo called Starbucks Grande Wednesday. Every Wednesday, you could get a grande size featured drink for only P100 from 3pm to 6pm. It’s back for the whole month of July starting this coming Wednesday! Just head on over to the nearest Starbucks at 3pm to avail of this promo.
