Slammin Mini Burgers Fries and Dips

Hubby and I normally have a simple lunch at home during weekdays since we work relatively close to where we live, but Fridays are kind of different. It’s usually the day we go out for lunch. This time we decided to try out Slammin Mini Burgers Fries and Dips.

Slammin Mini BurgersSlammin Mini Burgers Fries and Dips is a small corner stall located near Wee Nam Kee — you can actually see it from Missouri Street.

Slammin Mini BurgersThere’s a small counter where you can place your orders. You can see them prepare the food too.

Slammin Mini BurgersSince it was just the two of us, we just opted for double sliders, one for each person. We started off with the All American Sliders (P145). We tried three different kinds of sliders that day and for us, this is the best. Are you familiar with White Castle Cheeseburger Sliders? That’s what these babies are like. The beef is juicy and flavorful add the steamed onions plus melted American cheese and wow… who would’ve thought something so simple could be so addictive? I initially thought of skipping this because it seemed so plain but please — skip everything else but don’t skip this one! It’s Slammin Mini Burgers’ best offering.

Slammin Mini BurgersHowever, I got curious about Slammin Mini Burgers’ Black Box Specials, so I ordered double sliders of John Candy (P185) and Romeo + Juliet (P185). Both variants look the same so I only included the photo of John Candy. John Candy has their beef patty, cheddar cheese, bacon, sauteed onions, and salted caramel. It was okay but I did not really taste the salted caramel, it came off kind of like sweet barbecue sauce, lol. Romeo + Juliet has the same beef patty, cheddar cheese, but this time it had salted butter and strawberry jam. I liked this the least among the sliders I tried. There was just too much strawberry jam it was overwhelming. I couldn’t taste anything else except strawberry jam.

Slammin Mini BurgersThis is how big their sliders are. One order of a double slider is enough to fill you up, especially if you get side dishes like fries. I think it’s the perfect movie meal because it’s convenient to tote around.

Slammin Mini BurgersWe had a side order of Wings N Chips (P165) which comes with 4 pcs chicken wings (your choice of sweet or spicy) and fries with your choice of dip (choose from sour cream, jalapeno, creamy barbecue, roasted garlic, cheesy, honey mustard, and hot bell pepper). I liked the crispy fries and dip (I opted for sour cream) but I think I made the wrong choice when I told them I wanted the wings sweet. I should’ve opted for spicy! Given the salted caramel and strawberry jam in the burgers we had I could not really appreciate the sweet wings anymore. XD

Slammin Mini BurgersFor dessert, hubby and I shared an order of a Slammin Iceberg (P55). It’s basically soft rainbow bread bun with your choice of vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream. We had vanilla. It was nice and creamy and it reminded me of the ice cream sandwiches we had at Burnham Park in Baguio City.

Slammin Mini BurgersHere’s Slammin’ Mini Burgers’ menu… the desserts aren’t listed though.

Slammin Mini BurgersThis is their limited edition Black Box Series.

I would go back to Slammin Mini Burgers for the All American Sliders, and perhaps to try the other classic variants and Loaded Fries (I really enjoyed the plain crispy fries so I’m pretty sure the loaded fries will be a real treat!) but honestly speaking, I will not reorder John Candy and Romeo + Juliet. My kids are crazy about White Castle Cheeseburger Sliders so I think they will like the All American Sliders too.

Aside from Greenhills Promenade, Slammin Mini Burgers has stores in Trinoma, Market! Market! and Robinsons Magnolia.
