I received this nicely wrapped package a few weeks ago. I love coming home to surprises! 😀
It was a personalized gift from Nestle Nesfruta Dalandan! There were real dalandan fruits inside the box!
Dalandan is the newest flavor of Nesfruta to hit the market in addition to orange, mango, and pineapple. Scientifically speaking, Dalandan is a type of orange. But it’s not colored orange, it’s green, thus some refer to it as green orange. It has the same citrusy taste as orange except that it’s milder and less sour. Dalandan juice is actually a staple in the menus of a lot of restaurants here in the Philippines. Nesfruta is made with real fruit powder so the taste is close to the actual squeezed version of the juice. Fresh dalandan fruits were included in the pack so I could compare.
So anyway, Nesfruta comes in convenient sachets that are pre-measured to make exactly one liter of juice. I poured the entire contents of one into a one-gallon pitcher.
I filled it up with cold water up to the one liter line. Voila, I had a liter of Nesfruta Dalandan! Doesn’t even take 5 minutes to make and it’s enough to serve 4-5 people.
I had some this morning after coming home from my kids’ swimming lessons. It’s really refreshing, so good to have especially on a hot day. It’s best served super cold! It is actually similar to freshly squeezed dalandan juice except it’s a tad less sour. Nesfruta comes from real fruit powder so you can taste the dalandan in every serving. 😀
I don’t really watch TV but I did some research on YouTube and found out that Cheska and Kendra Kramer are actually Nesfruta Dalandan’s brand ambassadors! Watch this cute TVC! I’ve worked with Cheska on a campaign and I have met her youngest child Gavin, hopefully I’ll get to meet the vivacious Kendra one of these days. 🙂
Nesfruta Dalandan is available at all leading supermarkets nationwide. For more information, promos, and updates, like Nesfruta on Facebook.
