Last October 12, I took part in Johnson’s Baby Milk Mom’s Nourishing Spa event held at Watson’s Makati. It’s a whole day affair which aims to show moms how they too can get soft, smooth, and beautiful from Johnson’s Baby Milk products. I believe it’s equally important for moms like me to look good because taking care of ourselves shouldn’t stop when the babies and children come along. Being at our best helps boost self-confidence and empowers us to achieve more.
I arrived at around 12nn. I was promptly given a name tag and a stamp card for all of the day’s activities.
The first thing we had to do was register and like the Johnson’s Baby Philippines Facebook Page.
Then I went to get my photo taken at the photo booth. That earned me stamp number 2.
Further inside Watson’s was a Johnson’s Baby Milk Mom’s Nourishing Spa Booth. At the front is a food stall which offers trial portions of food that are good for the skin.
There were almonds. Almonds are rich in vitamin E which is an important antioxidant for the skin.
Anyhow, There was also had frozen yogurt for everyone. After having a bit of everything, I earned my third stamp. Beautiful skin should start from inside after all.
At the back of the food booth was a spa area where moms would be given relaxing hand massages. First we were asked to wash our hands with Johnson’s Baby Milk Wash. I love its mild scent which is reminiscent of baby powder. You know how good babies smell that you can’t help but sniff them when you carry them? It’s kind of like that.
After washing, I was seated while a therapist put Johnson’s Baby Milk Lotion on my hands and massaged them. I honestly wasn’t expecting much but it was actually soothing. For some reason my hands felt recharged, haha! Kudos to Johnson’s for commissioning very able physical therapists for the event. Getting pampered like this earned me another stamp.
Apart from telling us what foods will make our skin beautiful, Johnson’s invited Chef Rosebud Benitez to do a cooking demo. She would show us how to whip up a simple dish that’s healthy and good for the skin.
Engaging Chef Rosebud earned me my final stamp and this smiling lady got my completed card and exchanged it for…
I was actually with Mymomfriday for the duration of the event. I was unable to catch Judy Ann Santos who arrived later that afternoon because I had to go and fetch my kids from school.
Thank you Johnson’s Baby Milk for a learning-filled and leisurely afernoon! 😀
As I’ve mentioned earlier, Johnson’s Baby Milk Bath and Lotion aren’t just for kids, they can be used by moms too! I’ve personally experienced their skin-softening effect so yes, these products work. My 8-year old daughter and I usually apply lotion together before bedtime… talk about establishing a regimen this early, hehe!
Johnson’s Baby Milk Bath and Lotion are available at all Watson’s branches, supermarkets, drugstores, and department stores nationwide.
