Holiday Gift Idea #5: Perfumes from the SM Fragrance Fest!

The right fragrance can be as nice an accessory as the perfect pair of earrings, a nice bag, a necklace, or a bracelet. The gift of good scents doesn’t even need to be expensive as there are pleasant-smelling colognes that start at P100+! When I was in high school and college a lot of my peers would splash on plain old baby cologne and they were good to go. The great thing about fragrances is there’s one suited for every kind of personality. Personally I prefer my fragrances fresh and clean-smelling.

SM Fragrance Fest

Anyhow, I dropped by SM Aura last Friday to check out the SM Fragrance Fest. I’m not all that updated when it comes to perfumes so I figured it was a good opportunity to check out what’s new. Without further ado I’ll tell you right off — my #1 pick among all the fragrances I sampled is Agent Provocateur Fatale Pink. It’s that kind of light, clean, slightly fruity, and fresh smelling scent I like so much.

Another fragrance I liked was Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Yuzu. Yuzu is lime in Japanese so yes, it’s a citrusy scent!

I was impressed by the packaging of Versace Bright Crystal Absolu — it’s going to make an impressive gift!

When I was single I remember buying a bottle of Davidoff Cool Water for women. I was surprised to find there are now 3 variants!

Giorgio Armani showcased Acqua Di Gio. I found the scent rather overwhelming. SM Beauty carries most fragrance brands so it’s a one-stop-shop if you’re shopping for perfume. 🙂
