I have an affinity with all things Japanese. I think it started with my addiction to anime and video games which started during the late 70s or early 80s (Lol, tanders, hahaha!). I would watch Candy Candy, Voltes V, and Daimos on TV. I would play Legend of Zelda and other games on the Super Family Computer.
I was immediately attracted to Heroine Make as soon as I saw their anime princess, Princess Himeko. The brand was officially launched here in the Philippines some 3 weeks ago.
We watched a performance by Princess Himeko, she sang Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” to my surprise, lol. Heroine Make is all about being your own princess. You can by being beautiful all the time, and that is what this brand stands for with its user-friendly and long-lasting makeup line.
Igarashi-san first showed us how to achieve the natural and fresh look with Heroine Make eye makeup products.
Fresh and natural daytime look by Japanese MUA Sayuri Igarashi.
Notice how she subtly defined the eyes for this look. Well-groomed and filled-in brows, eyeliner that’s applied close to the lash line, and a few coats of mascara and you’re good to go.

The second look was a night time look suited for all night partying. The brows and eyes are markedly darker and more defined.
A few Heroine Make eye makeup products were highlighted during the launch, these included the following:
Heroine Make Quick Eyebrow (P345, pictured above)
Heroine Make Quick Eyeliner (P345, pictured above)
Heroine Make Impact Frame and Curl Mascara (P695, pictured above)
OMG. I swear I wanted to take home the entire rack, hahaha! Product pricing is definitely reasonable, no scratch that, they are affordable beyond reason lol! Drugstore level pricing + Japanese standard of quality = happy customers! Heroine Make cosmetics are available at Watsons stores nationwide.
Watch out for my Heroine Make product reviews, coming soon! I think I will start with the BB Cream, yay!
