To continue my chronicle of the Dove Summit, here’s what happened on Day 2. Since I slept past 1am the night before, I didn’t wake up for the optional 7am activities (namely swimming and yoga, lol). I got up at 8am and met up with the girls for breakfast. Apparently there weren’t a lot who woke up at 7am, haha.
After breakfast, we were once again ushered to the Dove lounge which had been divided into three areas.
The ceiling was filled with ribbons which had Dove logos stuck to the ends.
Dove Deodorant promises lighter and smoother underarms in just 7 days and it has been proven to deliver on that promise. After a brief talk on having the confidence to raise our arms (I must admit to not being confident about it, lol), we were all asked to write a goal we have for ourselves and then raise our arms in order to stick them to those ribbons on the ceiling.
After the Dove Deodorant pavilion, we proceeded to the Dove body care area. It was all about Dove Body Wash here.
We all underwent the moisture test, that is actually Angela’s arm. I used Dove Body Wash to shower the night before and so without putting on any lotion whatsoever, I got a score of 89. The good normal level is about 40. Wow, I don’t need any more convincing that Dove Body Wash works! It has actually become a staple in my own shower at home.
Bloggers with Jules of Unilever and dermatologist Dr. Anna Palabyab-Rufino who gave us a talk about skin care.
We watched a demo of how Dove hair care products work. There were 2 swatches of real human hair, one was shampooed with brand X and another was shampooed with Dove. Both hair swatches were blow dried and then…
Both were placed in basins full of water. As you can see, the hair swatch washed with ordinary shampoo fell down into the water. The hair swatch washed with Dove floated on the water’s surface. Healthy hair floats. That is how instantaneous the effect of using Dove hair care products is.
It’s true. I used Dove shampoo and conditioner the night before and my hair felt softer and smoother than normal.
Dove has always advocated real beauty and now it’s time to give real care to that real beauty that everyone naturally possesses. 🙂
All of us can be more beautiful, it’s just a matter of how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to others. Still not convinced? Watch this video. 🙂
