I don’t know about you but I hate styling my hair. I never know what to do with it so I usually just tie it back into a ponytail.
Unilever Philippines recently launched All Things Hair Philippines, a YouTube channel dedicated to well… all things hair. It’s a collection of video tutorials and tips featuring bloggers, models, and online personalities. I hope it can help me with my hair styling woes.
First you select your hair color, curliness level, and length. My hair is brown and wavy and long.
Okay then let’s check out DIY Casual Waves, Silky Straight Hair, and Instant Bangs by Laureen Uy. It’s pretty easy when you watch it on video. Shampoo, apply styling product (Tresemme mousse I think), braid your hair, blowdry, unbraid, and tadaaa DIY Casual Waves. I might actually give that a go. For Silky Straight she used a straightening iron. Pass. I don’t have the patience to do that myself. Instant bangs? Why, just sweep your hair diagonally to the side of your face and spray. I think this is the most doable of all the videos I checked out which were recommended for me.
Next up I checked out my friend Angela‘s How To Get Soft Waves. She’s the original Dove girl so it’s only apt that her tutorial would use Dove products.
Okay, I’m useless with a curling iron so I don’t think I can do this at home.
But it looks so good afterwards, yes? I think I will need salon services to get my hair to look like that hahaha!
Guys don’t get left out because Phil and James Younghusband actually have hairstyling tutorials for men at All Things Hair Philippines.
