Having just unboxed the BDJ Box Elite Corporate Chic some days ago, it’s now time to reveal the October 2014 BDJ Box’s contents.
In the first box is a set of Dial’s newest products — Dial Coconut Water Soap and Dial Coconut Water Body Wash.
Looking good! This month’s theme is Skin Savers, but I already spy Dove Hair Therapy nonetheless.
Okay so let’s start checking this month’s loot. Dial Coconut Water Soap (P139.75 for a pack of 3 so one bar is around P46) and Dial Coconut Water Body Wash (P199.75, pictured above). Then there’s a box of Dove Hair Therapy Hair Fall Rescue Serum containing 7ml vials x 7 (P470, pictured above). I love it when I get full-sized products!
Oh wow, more full-sized goodness! My Choice Spa Salt in Mix Fruity (P100 for a 500g bottle, pictured above) and My Choice Hand and Body Lotion in Fruity Mix (P70 for a 90ml tube, pictured above) — plus sample sachets of the salt and lotion. This is a Thai brand which I’m seeing for the first time.
Next up are Yves Rocher Zero Blemish Gel Cream (7 .33ml sachets of them so that’s a total of 2.1ml). The full-sized jar contains 50ml of cream so these sachets combined are worth maybe P34? There’s a Revlon Colorstay 16-Hour Eye Shadow Quad (P795, pictured above) and 5ml sample tubes of L’oreal Revitalift Laser x 3 Serum and Day Cream. Both products cost P1,500 for the full-sized versions. Suffice to say both tubes combined are worth less than P100.
Then there are more sample sachets from Strip — Strip Ice Cream (the really literally super cool cream they apply right after your waxing or threading session, probably worth less than P50), Malin + Goetz Peppermint Body Scrub (worth P37.50) , and Malin + Goetz Ingrown Hair Cream (worth P175). Full-sized versions all cost P1,650 to P1,750 each. There’s also a 20% discount card should you decide to purchase these products from Strip.
Everything combined, this box contains roughly around P2k worth of stuff, so that’s about triple your P580 subscription fee. I like that there’s a lot of practical items in this box that you can use everyday.
I love the Dial Coconut Water Soap. It’s this big. It smells soooo good. Do you know how nice the smell is when you open your luggage or your balikbayan box from the US? Lol, the scent of this soap is reminiscent of that. You can check out my full review of the Dial Coconut Water Soap and Dial Coconut Water Body Wash HERE.
I’ve also tried Strip Ice Cream as they apply it on my brows right after threading at Browhaus. It’s really cooling and soothing. It gets rid of the sting from threading almost immediately and helps redness subside.
What do you think of this month’s box?
